Directions:
· Two
hours drive from Cobar (160km), one and a half hours from Bourke
(125Km), two and a half hours from Wilcannia (200km) – all unsealed
roads – and 400km from Broken Hill on the Darling River Run. 4WD
isn’t necessary but recommended. Please check road conditions if
there has been rain in the area. Unsealed roads are closed in the
event of rain.
From Louth – cross the Darling River. Follow road 3km and turn
left at the T junction (sign here says Trilby Stn
19km). Turn left again at the large Trilby Station billboard and mailbox.
Follow road 3km to the accommodation and homestead complex.
From Tilpa: Head west on the
‘Tongo’ road. 1.5km out is a T intersection, turn right towards
Louth and continue upstream 66km to our Trilby Station sign posted
turn off on your right.
The riverside
village of Louth, which has a sealed airstrip
(Co-ordinates - 30 32.5S, 145.06E),
is twenty minutes drive (25Km) and your hosts are happy to meet you there
if required.
